What is the difference between a canoe and a kayak?

Our canoes at Thrupp are long narrow boats not dissimilar to the Canadian canoes. The craft has fixed bench seats that allow you to sit in an upright position to paddle either side of the canoe. We have two-seater, three-seater and four-seater canoes available for hire onsite.

Each hire provides you with buoyancy aids and a single-ended paddle for each of you to propel yourself through the water.
