What is the difference between a kayak and a canoe?

Our kayaks at Thrupp sit much lower to the water with the user sitting on top of the craft at a 90º angle supported by a backrest or seat depending on our kayaks available. We have single-seat and two-seater kayaks available for hire on site.

Each hire provides you with buoyancy aids and a double-ended paddle to propel yourself through the water.

  • £40 per half-day (4 hours)
  • £60 per day (8 hours)
