Hydrobike Hire in Oxfordshire

Take cycling off the road and onto the Oxford Canal with this brilliant watersport experience.

We have two hydrobikes for hire on an hourly basis

Fun, safe and unsinkable – The bicycles are mounted on two hard-shelled floats, pedal-powered and the handlebars control a fin below the waterline to steer.

Hydrobiking can be a gentle workout or a physical workout…

it just depends on how fast you pedal! Each hire provides you with a bouyancy aid.

Hydrobikes – 1 seat

  • £30 per hour

  • £50 per 2 hours

Height & age requirements

Hydrobikes are single-seaters with one person per bike.

We have a minimum age restriction of 8 years old. Additionally, all riders should have a leg inseam of 26 inches to reach the pedals.

Restrictions

Owing to the nature of the craft, you can take your Hydrobike from the bridge in Thrupp, Kidlington up to Shipton Weir Lock and back again. Please note that, for safety reasons, you are not allowed to go under the bridge (south) or to go through or portage around a lock on the Hydrobike.
